Why this site looks like a terminal
A personal site that works more like an index than a portfolio.
Most personal sites are brochures. I wanted an index: a place to keep what I’m writing, building, cooking, and listening to, where someone could also get a decent sense of who I am.
This is sample text. Replace it with your first real post.
On constraints
A monospace font and a terminal frame rule out a lot of decoration. What’s left has to communicate on its own, which is the kind of constraint I like working with.
Simplicity is not the goal. It is the by-product of a good idea and modest expectations.
— Paul Rand
